Ordered an access cab sized roof rack. Figured I'd give the new Hooke road one a try.

Thanks! No idea, it was on the truck when I bought it. It came silver, but I powdercoated it black and added homertaco grille letters. I guess its "custom".

    300000 kilometers!!! 186411 miles!!!

Bought my Tacoma brand new off the lot in July of 2008 with 9 kilometers on it. I didn’t even test drive it as I test drove an SR5 and went with the TRD during financing when I realized I could afford it haha absolutely zero regrets on that decision, love my Tacoma

P.S. please ignore the TPS light that’s on in in my picture in the same fashion you ignore it on your own dash haha thanks!

Wilco Offroad Hitchgate Solo spare tire relocation swing out (license plate relocation kit and accessory plate for table) with FrontRunner Outfitter Drop Down Tailgate Table

The fit of the Solo was as if it was made to go with my Mobtown Offroad (RIP) steel bumper with recessed 2" hitch receiver, but I did have to cut off the right recovery ring mount as the Solo is flush with the bumper. Over all I am very pleased with the outcome. I relocated my second recovery point to the additional 2" receiver built into the Solo.

I picked it up at Eecol Electric. It's an electrical supplies store. You can find it pretty much at any electrical store.

Yeah, I had some steering wheel shakes at ~60-70mph with the old tires (alignment was off so they wore funny) but I got my miles out of them.
Now it's everything but the steering wheel and it's not as consistent so that's fun..

As if I didn't have enough stuff rattling around in the cab

This past Saturday I did the rear diff, front diff & t-case fluid change. The fluids didn't look or smell too terrible for having 175K on it. I'm not sure and could not find records of the fluids ever being changed, so not sure how old the fluids actually are.

Also swapped out the 10mm front diff. drain & fill plugs with these hex head plugs that have been recommended by others here on TW. Should make life easier on the next fluid change!

    IMG_7643 (2).jpg IMG_7645 (2).jpg

Also swapped out my rusty & shrunken coil pack bolts with a brand new set of OEM bolts. The rusty heads were so bad that I had to use a 3/8" socket instead of the 10mm they are supposed to take. Hopefully the next spark plug change will go smoother the next time!!

    Happy Monday :annoyed:
Couldn’t see a car turning left in front of me due to a hill and ran straight into their rear quarter panel. Completely my fault, first accident that’s been my fault in my 10 years driving. I’m sick at myself.
