I was low key hoping to get talked into the Rubicon. Gotta stay logical though, I'm basically debt free rn and that would do a good job of not being able to say that Again for a while.

The grown up in me agrees though... 5 or 6 k on a daily is better than trading a super low mileage 18 taco and still having to finance 20k plus.

Guess I best plan on the taco getting some upgrades... new suspension lift, regear, supercharger, underbody protection w/sliders. Ect.(over time)

First things first though. Boutta hack up my 900dolluh voodoo rack! Should have went 10"! Instead of buying a new one I've ordered new c channel aluminum stock and plan on cutting the verticals to 10" and making new crossmembers with the new c channel.

Dat Rubicon was pretty sick though. But not 60k sick.

Yeah, a Rubicon would be nice but then you'd have the payment and be learning an entirely different vehicle. Better to use that extra funds into your existing than put yourself into something at $60k you're not only still going to want to do something to, but also probably be not as comfortable driving around that kind of money immediately off road, or at least I wouldn't be comfy with it necessarily.

Will be nice to see what you do with your rack. What size is it currently? Were you having issues with it?

18" (cab height) wind resistance with rtt mounted. More than you'd think. So dropping rack to 10" to keep top of rtt at cab level. Luckily I do builds and fabbing most days at work.... this modification is really going to be quite easy and cheap compared to ordering a new rack. I'll post pics during the process. It should look completely factory when I am finished minus voodoos crossmember logo.

Do you at least get to enjoy a little sightseeing while you're there? Is your wife with you?

And I sleep...I just don't need much and I usually stay off my phone so no one asks me why I'm up at 2 or 3 am.

Hopefully you get some clear skies for some decent pictures later. Is this your first time? I've never been.

Nope, automatic paid 2 weeks off.
    Why thank you:)
Coming thru the truck gate and hour early allows them to get into their door, get the trailer prepared, and get to the window clerk with their paper work by their apt. time.
    How are you feeling today?
    Good luck!!

    Morning everyone!

You are 100% correct. I try to never be rude to others and generally can tolerate a lot of bullshit. I just want to do my job and go home but occasionally you run into an asshole that wants to make you as miserable as they are. These people have no business dealing with others and can give any place a bad name.
