Today I finished grading the dirt around the posts to divert the rain runoff around them. Then started removing the excess.



Next step is to install my H braces and brace wire. Then I can start pulling my fence. Seems like it's taking forever and my body is paying the price but nothing worth while is ever easy.

 

Someone has been busy! Looking good though.

I tell ya Eric, it has been a young man's game all along but I'm holding my own. Deb is pitching in too when time allows. I'm sure we're over killing this project but that's how I roll. Go big or go home.

We spent it at Assateaque National Seashore Campground and got our tent soaked with rain. It was a horrible arrangement for sleeping but a good weekend.

This is what my girlfriend has been doing at her internship in Florida. She's coming back at end of November and starting a job as Wildfire Specialists at Blackwater falls park in WV

 

Did you hit a lot of rocks? We did. My guess is, when they excavated to build the house they just dumped it all on site and packed it down. I guess I shouldn't complain though. One hole out of thirty without any rocks for the first 24" was nice, but what a tease.

That's cool you can borrow, and then know how to use that bobcat. I think somewhere it is written down that I am not allowed to operate any type of heavy construction equipment.

Good Morning Everyone!

It's freakin' Monday and starting tomorrow I am being forced to appear in the office two days a week. I picked Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

 

Oh it was . Saturday night ,Sunday and last night

 

That su-ux! Been camping in the rain when I was much younger. Hated it then so I know it would be a miserable ordeal now that I am old and crotchety.

I watched something on tv once, and down there they were in air boats out on some overgrown area and were using a gun to launch fire balls! I wanted one of those of course! That's really cool she chose this as a career. I wish her all the best!

 

I know right. A year and a half of working from home has spoiled the fuck outta me. Now, the dread is setting in hard. I will have a hour commute on good days, have to deal with the pan handlers and squeegee kids, protestors, crime and rioters.

None of that even compares to how sad I will be not seeing my dogs all day long.

 

Well that blows lol. I went in twice in the past two weeks… that’s the most and shortest time in between visits since 3/2020.

 

Well, it's good for the plants I suppose.
