I was just thinking along those lines, that a few of these would work well as cargo lights under the cap.

I have the Apex 12k and I was not disappointed. Used for 3 rescues, 1 Prerunner tacoma, and a ranger twice.

Became sick of the loud pancake style air compressors. I primarily use one for finish carpentry. Decided to try the HF Fortress 2 gallon. Thing is amazing and ultra quiet. Can now hold normal conversations. Easily keeps up with my type of work. I think I've heard louder church farts. :D

I've got my Viair compressor for doing tires but dammit you just sent me down a rabbit hole on that compressor. Can't believe how quiet it is! Maybe I'll ask Santa for one this year :fingerscrossed:

At the current price point...why wait. Am I right??

BTW, after watching several videos, it's even quieter in person.

A month since the last post in this thread! I'd better check if HF is still open...

Anyway, I didn't see this combo sander posted here yet and wonder if anyone has it? I've been looking at the spindle sander for sometime and recently have a need for a sander like the disc sander. I found this combo sander will fit both needs, but I'm usually wary of multiple functions built into 1 machine. However, it's got a lot of great reviews. 6390B3C6-2D27-49C5-B534-42CFF6CD267C.jpg

I got one of their Titanium 140 welders a couple months ago. So far it has been flawless, and works great for the money. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get into welding, or if you need a small/portable welder like I. Have welded up to 1/4'', and still haven't managed to overheat the welder itself even with multiple long passes.

Also turning my 1.5 ton harbor freight jack into a wanna be pro eagle. Put an extension and big tires on it and save yourself a couple hundred bucks.

The one at HF is the 290 model, while the one on Amazon is the 240. Verified by the Jackery website. Apparently the 290 isn’t sold by Jaclery directly and only sold through third party sellers like HD and HF. Slightly smaller battery on the 240, but something that I doubt you’d notice unless you compared them side by side. If you’re in between both models I’d go with the 240 (Amazon) since it’s on sale.

I ended up buying the HF spindle/edge belt combo yesterday. Looked at the Rigid, but by getting the HF Insider Club thing it lowered the price to less than $200. Couldn't justify the price difference. Used it today and it was awesome. A bit of a learning curve but a short one.

These are the walnut treads for a spiral staircase step stool we're building. Used a jig saw to rough cut the radius of each one individually. Clamped all four together and sanded them to the correct shape. So worth the $.

Go to www.Klingspore.com for abrasive belts. MUCH better quality than anything HF has. Made my 1x30 belt sander into a whole new machine.

I'll book mark that site. It came with 80 grit paper and I bought some 120 while I was there. Not sure anything finer is needed? Seem like the speed and shape of the belt is mainly for removing material and rough sanding...
