Bought RCI Bed Rack...hoping to get some answers here

    I received my bed rack after many months of waiting and I want to say that the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I never saw anywhere that mentioned what these plates here are for. Anyone have any idea? Are they necessary? Before you ask, yes I did email RCI but never received a response. Thanks.

    Hi Nessal!
    Those plates simply install behind the RCI cutout on the side panel and emphasize the logo. The square cutouts will line up with the square cutouts in the side panel and the middle leg of the bed rack and will be attached with the provided 3/8" carriage bolts. They are completely optional, so it's totally personal preference on if you want to run them our not!
