Nothing has been done yet but I plan to change that as I start to build her up.
I edited my original post to include some pictures. As well as some more detail.
Besides the obvious broken portions on my headlight. It looks like the mounting support is still in good shape.
As for the grille support it looks like the accident definitely pushed in the support. would something like that need to get replaced in order to attach a new grille?

Hey, I’ve owned my Tacoma for almost 3 years. I got into a mild accident a year ago. the grille, bumper, and headlight on the driver side are all loose and are needing to be replaced. I know the damage is all cosmetic as she runs just as good as when I got her. But I wanna give her a facelift. I’m mechanically inclined but by no means a mechanic. I’m not sure where to start or what parts I would need to get started. Any help would be appreciated and hoping to get her looking good again. I want to do a lot of the work I can myself so I feel a bit more happy than just paying a body shop to do it.

Some pictures of the damage and with the hood open will help. Also you would be better off with used OEM parts rather than new aftermarket. Aftermarket stuff usually doesn't fit/perform the same.

I’m gonna get some pics when I get home. I wanna go OEM just for the fact I like it looking stock. I’m thinking I wanna invest more in performance than cosmetics.

Capa certified aftermarket stuff fits fine on these trucks, oem parts can get pricy especially headlamps and major body parts, grilles/bumpers ect.
