    Hello
I’m wanting to put a cap/canopy/shell on my (ordered) 2022 Tacoma SB. I have been trying to research what is out there, benefits and styles. I have run up short in a decision, so I thought I’d reach out to see what you suggest for my situation and maybe a picture of what you’re rocking.

I primarily want the cap for storage, safety and to mount accessories to. (rtt, a small zodiac, ect. Not at the same time). I am hoping for “butterfly” doors. I have looked at a fibreglass, the RSI and Ali cab.
    What are your thoughts?

I went with a Leer fiberglass and have been mostly happy with it, however if I were doing it again I'd go with the RSI

I’m waiting on a Snugtop Rebel that I ordered a few weeks ago. Everyone seems to be running about 3-4 months backordered right now, so once you decide which one you want, get that order in. I didn’t get the reinforced “sportsman package” myself, but if you go with a Snugtop, you’ll want to get that since you are planning to have a RTT. It supports 500 lbs. on top as opposed to 200-250 lbs. for the non-sportsman models. I’ll only be putting kayaks and paddle boards up on top of mine, so the 200 lb. capacity is plenty for me. I got the pop-up side windoors and fold-down front sliding window (the fold-down option is a must IMO, so you can clean both the cab rear window and the camper’s front window). I also got keyless entry so it will lock/unlock with my key FOB and also the hand sensors on the doors. I already have the OEM remote tailgate lock, so now everything will lock/unlock automatically. And I ordered it with a Yakima Jetstream rack and the rails for it pre-installed. All in all, it came in right at $3K installed + another $500ish for the Yak rack. Toppers sure aren’t cheap, especially these days!
