What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nice bumper! Just installed my CBI front bumper as well. Does the hoop on yours touch the grill at all or is there a gap?

 

Yeah I know the center cap itself is a stick on, but im talking about the lines you where concerned about. That’s a protective plastic film that is supposed to be peeled off.

I have the same wheels.

Great job. Looks like you got it centered perfectly. I can also see you moved it slightly to retain that screw. Some mirrors have a tension tower in the way so you can't move the light at all. Glad to see you get it completed.

There’s no film on mine. Nothing that peels off at all. It’s just all scratched up

 

Huge difference. I drive over Hwy17, and its a hill with a ton of banks and off camber turn. On my old brakes, if I was at 80% on initial brake pressure, I am now at 30% (butt estimate) with initial brake pressure. I;m manipulating the truck now, where as with my stock brakes, I was just trying to slow the truck down safely.

 

Now hang on there, there's other shiny white Taco's around here!

I used to live in Campbell and went over 17 to Santa Cruz all the time. Now I live in Portland and do a similar drive over to Manzanita/Cannon Beach fairly often. I have the front and rear Stoptech kits that I’m getting installed this week and getting back on Friday. Reading your comments on the fronts has me super excited now.

 

Oh that 17. I was thinking upstate ny, lol. The one by Santa Cruz is nuts, definitely want some stoptechs on that road.
