I got the 2021 TRD Off road and am currently rocking the OEM wheels and tires. I'm thinking of getting the Nokian Hakka LT3s for winters in 245/75R16. I'm wondering if the spare tire that came with the truck will be okay to use when I have the LT3s on and need to replace a tire.

If not, I'm not planning to do serious off roading but may be encountering some rough forest service roads that may not be all entirely snow covered, and I'll mostly be travelling alone. The LT3s are 10 ply so I guess they will be pretty sturdy, would I be fine not carrying a spare?

Looks like the Nokian's are 30.5" in diameter, and the spare is 30.6". That seems pretty damn close to me, so I wouldn't think that using the spare would cause any issues. The spare of course is quite a bit fatter, and maybe that would feel a little "different" up front, not sure. But either way, sounds like you have the usable spare you most certainly do want to be travelling with while on those FSR's. And just for good measure, add a tire repair kit to your equipment list.

Awesome, that was what I was hoping to hear haha. Thank you! And for sure, I always carry a tire repair kit with me just in case!
