ALCAN Leaf Springs 2020

I was very pleased with my Alcan leaf pack on my ‘03 Dbl Cab. Had them for years. No issues ever & handled very nicely on & off road. I’m considering getting another set for my 2018 when I do a lift on it.

Right on. Right now my 4600s are with the stock coils and I cant get a straight answer to what the spring rate is on stock coils so I dunno what speing rate to go for when getting new coils or getting diff shocks...i could do a softer speing if I had a firmer shock to kind of even it out but im afraid of getting the wrong combo and being too stiff or not sriff enough ...i have sliders and plan to get steel skid plates for the front,transmission and transfercase so id atleast want a 650 but ive often heard the stock coils are 700 and if thats the case id def want a 700 lb spring....

 

I have heard that the stock coils are at 700lbs too. But remember the 6112 coils and strut are longer than the stock ones. With an aftermarket UCA and the longer front components you get more flex out of the front end.
Bil5100 22.17in extended Bil6112 22.56in extended. I hit some rough trails off the back side of Big Bear this last weekend and the 6112's and 5160's with no sway bar performed amazingly! That is with steel skids all 3 of them, steel bumper, and heavy sliders, plus the truck was packed for the trip and two people.
