Has anyone purchased this camper shell for their 3rd Gen.

    What are your thoughts ?

a snug top shell sport or GB sport is about the same price ….

It looks good on your blacky. I have a whitey so not too sure how it would look on my rig. Also, I have a prinsu roof rack that I want to extend over the shell.

    thank you for photos

are you considering carrying any overhead cargo ? It’s rated for 770lbs

That's not my truck. Here's some pics of another truck that's not mine from that same thread: E89F38B3-5AE6-47E2-AD4D-2285D13B66E1.jpg4AC71EA1-CEE2-413F-859D-83B44B2F8A38.jpg086FB720-70A3-4EBC-95DA-92A0A2931B86.jpg

After a couple months of waiting, the store finally got my Smartcap and it installed a couple of weeks ago!
I went with the Evo Adventure mainly because I prefer having the molle around the side doors instead of the windows.
To say that I'm happy with the build quality and sturdiness of this canopy is a big understatement...

I have, one and the build quality is excellent -- especially considering it's similar in price, weight and weight capacity of other shells like the SbugTop with Sportsman upgrades.

The look is second to none and matches the Taco very well in my opinion.

As a tall guy, the height of the back window hinge is a little low when reaching over the tailgate and I've already bumped my head a few times.

So far, the locks totally suck just as described. It's very hard to get the fresh keys worked into the locks and by design they retain an alarming amount of water behind the handles which will absolutely lead to premature rusting. I have zero faith in the durability of these locks and hope the replacements coming out early next year truly are an improvement.

Ive been looking at the RSI all day. wanting a secure topper, with capability for RTT/Racks, and this thing is dope. would look great on my BBPearl '18 with all black everything.
I mainly put bicycles in the bed, so id want a roof rack on the cab i think, but i LOVE the look of this shell over a SnugTop or similar. i love the color match and the sleek lines, but the RSI is just badass lookin.
