Time will tell. I'm still digging into the AH hit but filing a 10 instead of S1 isn't then end of the world. I'm still digging for a definitive date for the new record date. The funny thing is this dump because of TYDE news. TYDE isn't the play. TYDE is a gift, a bonus. LOMO is the play. Which BBIG owns 40% of and is in the process of monetizing it.

If this stays down for long I'll be very surprised. The whole dump appears to be caused by people not interpreting the filings correctly and freaking out. The get rich quick crowd has left the building. That's OK. I'll still be here. For now.

 

And I can buy back my weekly covered calls for pennies. And sell them again

 

The Record Date for TYDE is now on or about DEC 27. It's 60 days from when they file the 10 which they expect to do by ONT 25th. There's a 60 day hold from that filing until the new company can trade vie the SEC rules. I need to research 10 filings further to figure out when the ex-div date is. From what I can gather the ex-div should be the day they file the 10. But I need to verify that. They are also getting another audit to value CrypTyde.

"On October 6, 2021, the Company filed a Current Report on Form 8-K announcing that the Record Date (the “Record Date”) for the TYDE Spin-off Dividend had been changed to October 22, 2021. The Company has elected to change the form of registration for the TYDE spin-off dividend such that it will be filing a Registration Statement on Form 10 (the “Form 10”). Upon successful completion of the standalone audit, the Company anticipates filing the Form 10 the week of October 25, 2021 with a Record Date of approximately 60 days post filing (on or about December 27, 2021)."

The rest of the 8-K's are just employment agreements and notice that some of the Board is vacating their posts.

I only sold 5 10.5 weeklies. If it went, I doubled my money. And I still had 200 shares and a few $6 dec calls. So didn’t feel like much downside even if it went crazy. As it stands, couple hundred bucks while I wait to see if this turd pans out

Google's always been super competitive with their pricing. I've been using Google phones since the Nexus 5. With getting trade-in credit on my old phone and the free buds it was a pretty easy decision to make.

For the past few days I've been kicking the idea around in my head. Today was launch and pre-order day. The icing on the cake came when I opened my pay stub. Inside was a bonus from my boss. I wasn't expecting it and we never once talked about it. That bonus bought the phone. Work hard kids. It pays off. lol

 

My bonus was TLRY coming out of nowhere and turning into a decent profit. Thought for sure that was just going to bleed out until expiration

 

If I might humbly suggest selling 4 of those if it runs up to earnings...
Reason being when stocks run up towards earnings it indicates an earnings beat...
So if the stock meets earnings...It's met the expectation and people...SELL to capture gains...
If the stock misses earnings...PEOPLE SELL because they are disappointed...
IF the stock Beats earnings...PEOPLE SELL to capture gains...
The only outcome that yields strong gains AFTER earnings WITH a run up is insane future guidance, which usually doesn't happen..

Hence most stocks dip after earnings release. There are even programs that read the earnings release and decide to sell before your human eyes or a report can be generated...So they start selling after hours based on some metric and that selling causes people who don't have the super computers to say "OH shit there must be bad news, I'm selling too..."

And if you have calls you're handcuffed after hours...


This has been my research approach to earnings plays after watching so many run ups go to vapor after hours.
