Just looking for some insight on if this is a good price or if there are typically better deals around the holidays? This also seems like a good way to avoid a core charge, I’m adding an auxiliary battery so I don’t have an old battery to return.

I think its a good price. They are pricey but hold up very well. I have installed about 10 Odyssey's in various vehicles. I just put one in my 2017 Highlander. They weigh a lot !

I have two of those in a Jeep ... great batteries! I bought them September 2018 and paid $297.99 each. All things considering, that looks like a good price.

I'll echo what everyone else has said, these are great batteries! I run them in my Dune Buggy, Dual-sport MC and my street bike. Basically anything which see's lots of vibrations, hard-use or is hard to get to (in the case of my Dune Buggy, it's easier to access the battery if the engine is out of the car) gets an Odyssey battery in it. The one in my Dual-sport MC, which see's sometimes months of no-use with no trickle charger lasted about 12 years!

As far as the pricing goes, if you can find a good price on the Odyssey battery you want, grab it. I never really see lower prices at different times of year. FWIW The last two Odyssey batteries I've bought have come from my local NAPA since I could get it within a day and with my AAA discount the price was as low as anything I found on-line.

Also, last spring I installed Off-Grid Engineering's dual battery setup in my Tacoma. I went with their recommended Full Throttle batteries, which seem to be on the level of the Odyssey Extremes, and have slightly more amp hours. Just FYI.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I think I’ll order it before the discount ends!
