    Howdy,

Last night as I set my E-Brake I seemed to have knocked a cable loose with my foot. It seems to go into the bracket in the last photo and possibly just popped out. Does the end of the cable attach to anything? And what is it for?

Also if anyone has a good diagram of what the various wiring harnesses etc. in this area all go to, let me know.

Thats your hood release cable. It should be attached to the back of the hood release pull

That was extremely fast. Thank you both. I can't seem to get it clipped into both spots on the retainer, but it's hooked back up and working. Makes sense since I did pop my hood open yesterday.

Hood latch. On my truck i will put it back, clip it in properly and it will pop out again after 4-5 uses.
