How is it through various conditions you ever regret having it ? I had 20 and 35% on my Chevy and it was only tough at night when it rained. 5% seems very dark though

Yeah I want to do that and get grey trd letters. Did you tape off the letters before spraying it?

Did you have to drill through the case?

Holding up well for me 2 years later. Not the most secure and not water tight, but for the price it was the best option for me and I didn't expect it to be impenetrable or waterproof.

Yeah, if someone wants to rip it off they are going to no matter what regardless of the cheap little locks that are on most covers. As far as water tight as long as most things are dry im good with it

Oh yeah, it only let's a little water run down the insides of the bed but that water moves through the channels in the bed out of the bed pretty easily. Anything short of stacks of paper stays really dry back there even in bad rain.

yes...1/4' carriage bolts from the bottom, and wing nuts on top. Holds up well, minimal wind noise. Having the struts on the case when you open it on top is nice to have.

I was reading install instructions and they always stress me out. Find a couple vids online that made it a lot easier. Also, a thread where they used some RTV sealant on the seams to prevent some of the water from coming in. Might try that depending on how bad the intrusion is

no I removed the letters by heating up the double sided adhesive then reinstalled using double sided gorilla mounting tape. So far no chipping but new install and time will tell.
