I've spent may too much time researching payload, tongue, and everyother capacity and there is a lot of good info. Curious if anyone has had any experience with a VersaHauler hitch mounted carryer for a quad, etc.

The weight of the quad and VersaHauler come out to 477 lbs. which is less than the rated tongue load capacity of 640lbs. on my 2021 TRD offroad.

With the quad, Versahauler, people and equipment I'm still under the payload capacity of 1,135 lbs.

Those with experience with this type of situation or towing in general have any advice / thoughts on this set-up?

    Thanks!

I've used a similar setup with a motorcycle of similar weight with good results. I did check it frequently (gas/rest stops).
It seems like a lot of weight and not a lot of support but people do it every day.
