At one time I had planned to have a set of Winter tires and wheels and a set of good weather tires and wheels. My problems has been Michelin tires always seemed to show what I was told was the start of dry rot cracking from UV light long before I ever wear the tread out. Turns out that seems to be a bit of BS information so the plan has changed.

I'm selling a set of wheels and tires which were both taken off new vehicles and which I had mounted and balanced and I used for one winter. This use period was last winter and includes well less that 5K miles total on them total.

The wheels came off a new Gen-3 Off-Road. The tires came off a new Gen-3 Pro. They are mounted and balanced, include Gen-2 tire pressure sensors, and are filled with Nitrogen and were bought to work with and used on my 2014 Gen-2 TRD Sport Tacoma. The wheels include the OE center caps. The tires are Goodyear Kevlar Wrangler's 265/70R-16.

I will ship at buyers expense. I'm looking to get $750 for the set of four.

I bought the wheels without sensors because that is the way they came. I drive a 2014 (Gen-2) and like I said, the wheels were on my truck last winter. I bought new senors that were made to fit a 3rd Gen wheel but work with a 2nd Gen Tacoma.

If you are a motivated buyer I'm reasonably convenient to Virgina, Maryland, Deleware, Southern Pennsylvania, and eastern West Virginia. And, for a motivated buyer, I would consider working something out to met a buyer and complete a transaction.

Thank you and anyone else for their interest.

Not looking to debate either. Just wanted to understand. I assume they did work for you? Thanks for the knowledge. Unfortunately, I'm not convenient to any of those places. I occasionally get to the Poconos, including this weekend.

Not a problem. I'm glad you asked. I would have done the same.

Yes, electromechanically the Gen-2 sensor in Gen-3 wheels worked perfectly for my Gen-2 Tacoma.

For what it's worth, it's been a long time since I've had any interest in Goodyear tires. For my original purpose as winter tires I figured if Toyota put them on the Pro, how bad could they be. I was very pleasantly surprised. They were, for me, a great road tire in all weather conditions. They balance well and are also quiet.

My experience as well  Keep in mind, while I don't care what kind of truck a buyers puts this setup on, I'm only trying to offer a 2nd Gen buyer a solution that is not far from what he would pay for a comparable set tires alone. But I'm including:

    - new take-off Tires
    - new take-off 3rd Gen OR Wheels
    - new TPMS senors that fit a 3rd Gen wheel but work with a 2nd Gen Tacoma
    - mounted, filled with nitrogen, and balanced

I like the OR wheels. @Superman I'd love to sell them to you but seriously, if Pro wheels are what you want I can't help you.

What I have, I think, is only a bargin for someone who has a 2nd Genn, needs new tires and wants 3rd Gen OR wheels; and, still wants their TPMS system working and appreciates the convenience of them already being mounted and balanced. I got surprised by how much it cost to put sensors that fit a 3rd Gen wheel but would work with the 2nd Gen TPMS system. Your experience may vary.

Good luck with whatever you decide on

Can't give them away but the price is $750 and if you figure $300 for the take-off like new 3rd-Gen wheels, $300 for the take-off like new 3rd-Gen tires, and $150 for brand new TPMS sensors (designed to fit 3rd-Gen wheels but work with a 2nd-Gen Tacoma, mounting and balancing it's a fair if not good price!
