Yes Chic hill... and the dunes are on the way to 3rd machias lake.. made it up the dunes no problems, aired down only to 25PSI the steep part on the left I could'nt make up, and ran out of time.. did'nt want to go at high speed up and over & wind up breaking something...

Yeah you don’t want to break something out there. I was on 52000 earlier this year and ran into a guide who lost the fuel pump in his suburban. I ran him up to the phone booth, and the only wrecker he could get came from Ellsworth and cost him $400.

Once the drivers tire slipped into that hole it was all over. Turns out the Crawl Control wasn’t able to handle the mud up here. It was fun to try it out though.

I had a good time. It was a change of pace from running logging roads anyway

A couple of weeks since I was on here. Nice to see people out enjoying the woods. Me and a Tacoma friend both pulled two moose out of zone 1 last week. The epitome of hunting rigs.

Full disclosure I am not from Maine but this is an active thread with people who use woolwax.

I noticed this yesterday. Is this rubber swelling? Was it caused by woolwax? Do I need to worry/do anything?

A little light on photos, currently. I hate "grip and grins," but I was skinning his leg and it made for a good opportunity to take a photo. I'll let Dan share his moose when he comes through here.

MT Classic 3 0 offset with 265/70/16 Duratracs. Truck came with 17s, but want to go to 16s. This is more of a cosmetic change than anything, haven't done a lot of trails with this truck. Any advice/input is appreciated.
