    How do you do it?

shop said $200 to remove old tint. Trying to save that prior to re-tint to something lighter.
I already peeled it off after ammonia soak w/ trash bags,

but there's these tiny strips of adhesive residue left near the edges. That don't come off with chemical spray.

It's kinda working to scrape them off with a knife at an angle, but takes too long.
    Has anyone done this before?

Some of this Some of that
I have done it, but I just took the glass out of the door. Lots of rubbing alcohol and a razor blade to get the adhesive off. That’s probably not helpful for your situation

Brand new razor blade and some liquid for lubrication. Keep swapping the blade for a fresh one. Liquid can be Windex, soap and water, goo gone, alcohol. Last time I did this I may have used all those liquids. Just keep it wet and be patient.

Also a hair dryer can help a bit.

Once the tint is peeled off. Some good razor blades and winded is all you need.

I use a fresh razor blade and glass cleaner. Peel the film and use razor and glass cleaner for the adhesive
