    A bunch..and no build thread!
So, I have been looking at suspension options for my 2021 OR.

Light off roading (mostly camping, hunting and fishing), not looking for some crazy lift, some beach running as well. Eventually I will replace the wheels and get better tires.

I am trying to see the benefit of the Old Man Emu BP51 kit over the Fox 2.0 Performance Series kit. I would be doing front and rear with whichever set I go with.

The OME kit looks awesome, but is it overkill for what I am looking to do?

Talk me into or out of spending too much..lol.

I am very new to this truck, I have had it for just under a month.

Honestly the OR is pretty capable as is and most people here might say get new tires first if your not looking to lift it much. Putting 255/85/16s on will add some height as those are ~33” tires.
Lots of good choices on lifts thought. Have you checked out the stickies or just looking for opinions after reading them?
I’ve got the Ironman Foam cell pro and while overall being happy with it, it’s stiffer than I’d like. But that’s also from the E rated tires and SPC UCA. Also, when I got my kit it was about 1500 with the coils needing to be built. That also included new leaf packs. Might be worth a look, just make sure you want the lower rated springs. Mine are 827lb and too much lol.

I've been reading a decent amount and doing some research. I think you are right about the OR and it's stock suspension. I may just go with new tires and wheels for now (I really dig the Pro wheels).

    Thanks for the input!

    Like, so many.
I eventually changed the suspension, but only after finding the limits of the stock suspension. Go with tires first.

Hell... I sell suspensions, and I also agree with this ^^^

Get out there, find out how you'll be using the truck most. Decide what you do and don't like, and then circle back around here and we can help you out!

I suggest trying tires first. 265/75/rim size or 255/85/rim size. They will get you much farther than a suspension package.
If you insist, both options are fine. Keep in mind that you may want to check on rear leaf options as well.

I was looking at those as well. At around $400 for front and rear (the blue ones - loaded 50% of the time) they seem like a great addition.

That said, you can get a Billy 5100 kit for about that price, I think.
But if you’re planning a a higher end suspension in the future, the superbumps are probably the better investment.

Has anyone here added air bags to their OME-TAK16 kit? When I contacted Toytec and told the sales rep I'll be driving 2,000 flat highway miles to get to some semi-gnarly roads (ex: black gap pass in Big Bend National Park), the sales rep recommended the OME-TAK16 kit + UCAs + Firestone rear air bags. His logic was when I'm loaded down, I can air-up the bags.
As most of you have probably experienced with stock TRD OR, when I've got my yeti near the tailgate, I hit the bump stop on speedbumps. However, I don't want a crazy-stiff ride. Will air bags help resolve this? Or am I being over-sold?

I’d pass on airbags. It seems like too many people have had issues with them. While they make sense for hauling big loads they limit suspension travel by enough that they become a hindrance.
