The problem with it is it barely passes emissions as is. In a few years May not even be legal to sell!

A gallon of denatured alcohol will fix that.

This makes me so happy to hear. Just picked up my 2017 5 spd SR a few months back with 36,000 miles. Keeping this one forever

Wow impressive. I had my '14 2.7 for when I was commuting 100mi a day (round trip.) Never let me down. Only got about half of where you were though before situation (and trucks) changed. But I love hearing about people getting higher mileage out of these trucks.

Good to hear that the Tacoma can go along ways. My 2014 Venza v6 had 260,000 k when I traded on my Tacoma. That was the most I ever had on a Toyota and still ran like a new one just. Just normal wear and tear no engine troubles at all. I needed a truck so seeing that post makes feel good about it.

Damn that's clean. I hope you keep it classy! IMO stockish trucks are the ones that will still be attractive in 20 years.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Damn, I bought my 17 in September of 2016. Haven't even hit 30k yet. Only thing I've changed is the oil and filters so far. Hopefully you can get to the Million mile club with no major issues. :hattip:

Thanks! That’s exactly what I plan on, I won’t mess with suspension, lifts. Etc. Been down that road too many times before. Ordered a black softopper and that’s my last addition to the truck.

Mine doesn't win any races, but it comes with 4.10 gears and the motor has more torque than horsepower and it just feels "right".

Awesome! My ten year old 2.7 Taco only has about 50K on it. I was planning on running it to destruction but I think it will outlast me. I'm 65.

Finally someone that drives more than I do !
Drive it till the wheels fall off and then think about welding em back on
With prices the way they are.

Preach. I don't get the complaints on drums. I've driven many old hoopties in my life and never once had to touch drum brakes. I do however agree that braking is not perfect so I am going to order some EBC yellow pads shortly.
