Do you know what kind of difficulty the trail ride will be? I’m wanting some more of a challenge, seems like I always miss the days those are on.

Let me check with Brad. There are a number of trails that are open between September and February that were normally closed. We got on one last month. I hope he takes another one of those.

    From Brad:

"I imagine we will do two trail groups again. That seems to make everyone happy. If there aren’t enough people for two rides, we will figure out a middle ground for both."

Sounds good, I’m planning on going. Plus having 2 groups speeds things up a little to.

Wish I could make it. I don't really know anyone that trail rides/overlands except a few jeep people.

    Ew.

JK JK (see what I did there?). I will say I'm looking at accessories for my 4th gen 4Runner and am jealous of the availability and pricing of aftermarket accessories that Jeeps get. I can only find one company that makes a lo pro bumper for mine anymore whereas there are 40 for Jeeps and they're all about half the price as the ones for my 4Runner.

HA! I can see that struggle for sure! Bigger selection, more competitive prices. I tend to think of Jeeps as the Mustangs of the off road world. Every once and a while you see one that is nicely done lol.

I have a coworker with one that is very nicely done but he's done almost all of the fab work himself. Manual transmission JK with a lift on 33's, basic, clean front and rear bumpers with a tire carrier. He doesn't off road much though. He just wants to be able to get to work and job sites regardless of conditions.

My husband's project coordinator and best friend has a really nice one too. He is big into trail riding and primitive camping. I'm sure we will be going out with him a lot! I just got my Tacoma a week or so ago so it is still all stock. It would be nice to have some local Tacomas to go out with though.

We do get out often to run trails and primitive camp, unless it's bugmageddon or humidastrophic. If you're in the central area, you and your hubby will have to join sometime. We do make you sign contracts and super pinky swear that you won't divulge any of our super secret campsites tho. (Translated: No Jeeps allowed).

I'm down! I've only owned sports cars until this vehicle (mustangs, CTSVs, corvettes) so this is a new world. Any advice on parts would be great too. I'm feeling overwhelmed with all of the suspension kit choices.

Just to shave some goings-on with the 100s series side of the family. My friends from Texas and Missouri came to visit the Ozarks for a weekend of off-roading on the Ozark Adventure Trails. One of my buds runs the 100 series calendar contest. I think we'll see some local sites in this year's calendar.
