    I talked with Jeffrey who works with Valley runner and a couple others and they are also working on a tune for the 2.7! I check their website every few days waiting to see a mention about it.

    Hey guys I have a guy out of texas claiming he can tune our Tacomas "3rd gen 2.7l" I have his insta maybe he can do a group rate. He told me can remote tune and the tune has a lot of benefits like the ability to lock the gear with the ect button engaged and better power torque. If you're interested I guess reply to this? Not sure how this forum works yet.

    If he's the owner of D3 Performance, you might want to stay away.

    Some 2.7L 3rd gens are supported within vF tuner. Not all, but hopefully that will change soon.

    https://www.downhilldragontuning.com/ is the name of the company. I talked to him a little bit and he said that he has done a lot of them with no issues. I told him that he might be one of the only people tuning these trucks if he's legit.

    Ah yes, he's on the forums. @DownhillDragon is his username.

    But if he's using vF tuner then he cannot tune every 3rd gen 2.7L. I'm not sure which ECU ID's are currently supported, but it's a very small list.

    Correct, I'm in Texas and have tunes available for 04a21 and 04a22, which are the only two supported (as @Stormpeacock also pointed out). In TX, and tune out of Austin and Houston. Shoot me an email at downhilldragontuning @gmail.com if I can be of assistance!

    I've done maybe 10x 2.7L's at this point. Only issue I'm currently dealing with is a single customer complaining of some gear hunting around 30-40MPH that the other customers are not experiencing, so I'm taking another stab at the shift maps. Other than that, everyone has been happy so far.

    Is there any way to buy the tune from you for the 17 auto through email. (Sending the file in an email) Only reason I say is because I’m nowhere near Texas.
