We're closed mondays so I can't check for sure right now, but according to our back end inventory it says we have two of the direct replacement sports in stock, and two of the SAE direct replacements in stock. Both in amber, not white. We usually try to have 1 or 2 sets on hand.

The only reason I didnt have 'trouble reaching in there' was because I had done the viper cut in the bumper already so it was super easy access.

Figured I would post in here the most recent big build we did.

Full JD Fab Long travel front with King coilovers
JD LCA relocation and skid plate
Archive Garage shock relocation & hammer hangers with King rear shocks
    Deaver leaf springs
C4 Hybrid Bumper with Warn winch and Vivid lightbar
Method wheels with 35" Nitto terra grapplers
CMC and fenders cut out to stuff 35's.
    Front/rear lockers and gear
a bunch of cool wiring stuff.

really pumped on how it turned out.

Looks like a beast build! Which Kings did he used for the rear end? I still have to do the fork lift test at work sometimes lol.
Can't wait to start piecing stuff together for that LT kit:spending:

Awesome build, Fully locked, suspension, this Tacoma is way more capable than a lot of trucks out there.
What lockers did you guys go with and gears?

So worth it! Rear shocks are 12" king smoothbodies. Maybe could have used 14s, but hard to know ahead of time, and long lead times mean it is what it is. Basically setup to use exactly all of the 12s though, so nothing really gained by going 14s.

It's a bit of a sleeper honestly! Other than the front bumper it looks very understated. Love it.

Swapped in a stock rear axle with the oem locker on a regular switch, and an eaten e-locker in the front on 5.29s. we haven't been able to get gears or lockers in a timely manner, so we had Enrico do it.

That's dope, would you say the Deavers offer more droop than the rxt? Can't imagine mine would flex that much in the rear from the fork lift with my 12'' & relocation! Gotta find the damn fork lift asap lol. 14s would work by getting JDs rear LT relocation at this point I suppose. Did you notice any big difference between AG & JD relocation plates for the LT? (*assuming you couldn't do LT with AG's current relocation and need the new plates to remain under bed)

I think we got the wheel around 28" up before it started to lift a tire? That's with no weight in the bed too. Could have gone further for sure.

Deaver get a bit more droop than rxt but minimal. The 3.6" shackles allow more as well but you have to be careful cuz they can bind without limit straps.

I haven't installed JD's rear shock relocation, but it does go through the bed, just minimally. I've installed 14s on the ag ones though and used most of them. It's the leafs that are limiting the travel at that point, compared to the 62.5" Sua leafs that the JD kit is designed for

Can you fit 35's on the 2.5 elka kits w/ Deaver 402 without too much trouble or do you need the long travel kits to make it worth it? Does it create other issues if you dont and should one just stick with 33's? What's the cost of going to the 5.29 gearing these days? Thanks in advance. I emailed you a few weeks ago about a build and you provided a fantastic response but I am still searching for a truck...slim pickings these days.

I'd def aim torwards the JD Fab LCA pivot kit to save yourself some work on 35s but i think a tiny bit of fender trimming is still needed. $$$ to do but less hacking up your firewall/fender.

Like @Marcgb91 said, the JD Fab LCA kit definitely makes things a lot easier.

I want to do a proper write up, and even video about fitting 35's properly, but haven't had a tonne of time. Basically, lift won't matter. Read or watch the video/blog I made here: https://overlandoutfitters.ca/blogs/news/the-myths-of-lifting-an-ifs-vehicle for more information on that.

We have put 35's on trucks with otherwise completely stock suspension. Without either moving the LCA forward, or tubbing the firewall and relocating the cab mount, they will not fit without rubbing. Also, at full compression, they will get into your fender and wheel well. This is why we usually cut around 1.25" out of the fender/flares. We also hammer away at the top of the wheel well, but without tubbing, at full compression they will still rub.

One way to solve all of this is a bump stop spacer, but I pretty much refuse to do them because you're just losing travel which goes against everything I believe in haha.

I know some shops are putting 35's on elka kits with a regular cab mount chop, and leaving the fenders stock, but I guarantee they are limiting the up travel by around 1.5" at least. Why pay for nice suspension, and then gimp the up travel like that? Doesn't make sense, unless you spend all your time on pavement, in which case, I can clear 35's for you nooooo worrieeeesss haha.

Long travel definitely makes it easier to clear, but not required by any means.

For gears, they have been basically impossible for us to get lately, so right now I've just been recommending people go to Enrico's Differential Solutions in Mission for lockers and gears. I would guess, if you wanted lockers and gears and install etc, to expect around $5500-6000 all in.
