Getting gas yesterday and guy pumping gas says, "you must be a bad ass assassin".. I'm like "what"? Well you have guns in them there cases right? UUMM NO.. Looks like I need a "no firearms sticker" to put on the case on the roof rack..

It's none of gas pumper boy's concern what you have or don't have in or on your truck.

Never understood driving around with a RTT constantly mounted and a roof rack with MPG robbing empty boxes. All of which just screams "HEY COME STEAL THIS STUFF FROM MY TRUCK".

Dont get me wrong its a neat setup but realistically how often do you actually use it.

Also, obviously the idiot who asked you that question is not a gun owner... no owner would be stupid enough (at least I hope) to store their firearms OUTSIDE of their vehicle.

No snorkel.. I have been getting this build together for about a year for a trip to Tuktoyaktuk next summer.. I would take it all off and store it in the garage however due to divorce my current house has a garage that my Maita won't fit in let alone all this.. I live in a small town and have never had an issue, one neighbor had some issues but he is also flying every flag known and has a sticker on the back of F150 that says "MERICA".. I also live maybe an hour from the trails and Tillamook forest, which I am going to this weekend, so there is that..

Oof, sorry to hear about the divorce. I had to move out of my gf’s place last year, moving tons of tools and camping gear and shit was so terrible. And it looks like my engagement just went down the drain and so i’ll be moving it all over again. :playball:

I would still rather have a tiny garage then have to share a double oversized one with my EX.. I have a GF that is kickass and drives a Jeep! Has her own place, no garage.. Shit does get better after losing 13yrs of your life due to politics.. Still blows my mind tho..

Agreed; the hoodrats around here already drive around breaking into trucks looking to steal guns. I can't imagine those cases would last a week without some drug addict or thug breaking into them.

Just tell the Nosy Nate that you use the cases to transport dismembered body parts.

    Hilarious!

I've only ever used those flat/long cases when shipping M4 to forward TDY locations MILAIR--combo locks go without saying.

Rugged cases make a good suitcase for camping/trailing adventures.

I carry recovery gear in one case and airhose and parts in the other. Since i got tired of taking it off for the week and reinstalling it on the weekend for trips, i just leave them up there.

To each their own i guess. Lol
