    *sigh*
decided no camping this weekend. storm coming in tomorrow afternoon through sunday and could be bad.
    :pout:
so i thought i'd treat myself and go into town for lunch to make up for no camping
get to the restaurant. closed due to lack of staff for the day
    :pout:
being gluten free i can't go just anywhere so it was a wasted trip.
hit a couple quilt shops just to my 30 mile trip from home wasn't a complete waste.
    back home now.

not pulling the batteries just yet. got a long weekend next week so i'm hoping for one more outing.
i've never driven the camper in any really bad snow or ice and it scares me a bit. plus they're predicting 20mph winds to boot. i've had enough wind.

Good morning. @MTgirl, I can relate to your struggles when it comes to gluten. My grandson has Celiac disease, so he cannot eat gluten. The father of a friend of his invited him and my wife and I to come over on Thursday for a simple dinner before the kids go trick or treating. There will be one other family there, they have twins. Anyway, we accepted, but I did not explain to this father that my grandson won't be able to eat the fried chicken or mac-n-cheese he's preparing. I will just try to bring something along that can't be cooked, likely a crappy snack. After dealing with his Celiac for almost 9 years, I've learned its best just to bring things ourselves, as it really complicates things when people realize they have to make 2 meals to accommodate him. And most don't understand it anyway. It really discourages my grandson from visiting places for meals or even eating out, as many eateries don't have a gluten free menu, or, if they do, the people wo prepare the food cross contaminate it.

Good morning all. Going to take a ride out to see the kid today.

I was told, yesterday, that I won’t be able to make the lateral move to the other (closer) plant. Not overly pleased but so be it.
