Any ideas on wiring these up better? The female disconnects are how the switch wiring was done but the wires from the lights don't have anything on them..
Should I just get male disconnects and call it good or is there a better way I should do this (short of soldering?)

I’ve used these. They are water tight, strong, permanent connection. They are soldered but idiot pruff. Heat gun and wire strippers all that’s needed to make the connection.

Looks good to me. If I had an extension cord long enough, I'd just solder the damn things but these look like they'll do just as well.

You do have to use a heat gun. I had mine turned up to the highest setting, 20-30seconds. Make sure you let them cool before moving them around to much. Good luck

I have a battery powered soldering iron just for those situations where I can't have a wall plug soldering iron.

I had one that ran on batteries but it was Chinese junk. Found out Milwaukee has one when I bought it for my TWSS lol

Mines from ol Radio shack, takes two double AAs. Though it does burn through batteries. One 30 minute solder project will kill the batteries so I usually leave 4-6 batteries in my solder bag.

I'm a little more than 25k behind you. 150k coming up soon, but with gas prices as high as they are I've been driving the 03 corolla to work so it may be a while lol
You doing alright? I think I see you on discord now and then.

These gas prices have me giving more than just a passing glance at the occasional Prius

I'm still in the Discord but also not as active there as I was. Lately, my Discord time has been taken up by the Destiny 2 clan I've been playing with.. I'll have to pop in for more than the occasional snarky comment lol

Doing alright though, just the same old work, sleep, repeat for the most part.
