My 2014 Taco left front directional light stopped working. I get the quick blinking on the dash so I figured I burned out a bulb. 133k, it's probably time to change them. But.....that's not it. The bulb works if I put the parking/headlights on. It WON'T work with the turn signal, hazards or if I turn on the DTR light. I double checked the fuses and they are good and tight. I'm think flasher relay? All the other outside lights work the way they are supposed to. Just this one side in the front giving me trouble. Thoughts?

You need to check for power on the yellow wire at the bulb with the DRl's on, if you have no power then go to the flasher relay and check Pin 10 (yellow) at the flasher relay for power with the DRL's on, if you have power there but not at the light you have a wiring problem, if you don't you have a bad flasher.

If you’re flasher relay is where mine is it’s not that easy to check. I just upgraded mine with a diode dynamics relay. And its behind the lower dash panel behind the fuse block

The DRL/Tow Package relay is up on the steering column, the non DRL/Tow relay is on the back of the Body ECU/Fuse box.
I believe the OP has the DRL/Tow Package type relay.

I've seen 2 different part numbers depending on if you have DTRL, but does that mean daytime running lights that are always on? I have DTRL but I can switch them on and off.

Sounds like you have the same setup as my truck DRL (12 Pin Flasher)
The non DRL (8 Pin Flasher) trucks don't have a DRL position on the stalk.
The thread below has a writeup on how to access it.
