Good morning.

Hitting st Louis around 2 this afternoon. Anyone recommend good barbecue place? I can hit Google but figured I'd ask some locals first.

 

Adam’s smokehouse on Watson Road or Bogart’s smokehouse on 9th.

Both are great and you’ll be coming in after the lunch time rush is over.

 

Cool beans. Time to clog some arteries. Google says 145 just to St Louis I'll punch in specifics when I get closer.

 

And if anyone's got the hookup for Busch light apple let me know.

 

Bogarts is solid. I would say Pappy's Smokehouse, but they make everything fresh that day and when they're out, they're out. Hard to know when that'll be.

I don’t imbibe so I don’t know where to send you. Likely “Dirt cheap”, which is a local bottle shop would be who I’d check with first. They gave a few stores around the metro area.

 

Frankly if you're going to Bogart's on 9th, the brewery is right around the corner. Probably hit up the shop there and pick a few things up

Or, keep it simple and ask the fellas at Bogart's. They'll point you in the right direction

 

Hitting Adams then the arch then the brewery in theory. And a dog park or something in-between or somewhere today for the furry one.

Between the two they were both 2011 2013 opening not like one has been around for ages over the other and the salami sounds right up my alley.

The place I called in Springfield said they were sold out and they aren't making any more so the brewery is my best bet I'd think.

 

Adams. Out of ribs and brisket but i was there at like 2 on a Wednesday so I figure going elsewhere would be the same situation. They had salami though so all was okay. Got a sandwich and then half pound turkey and half lb pulled pork. And the beans. Hot damn. I won't lie - it wasn't the best bsrbecue I've had, but it's in the top 5. And by far the best north of Texarkana and the like.

Already hit Adams. Good place. Debating on heading through Nashville tomorrow or not. It's a detour to get there but will add the options for chicken and or other stuff in Nashville too.

If you are in an emergency situation and still have some signal dial 911 instead and provide them that information so that the right people can act upon your behalf. Or, if you are lost use the gps feature to identify exactly where you are.

Remember, heaps of well intentioned people share things on the internet without reading the message, and then rereading the message to determine if it’s genuinely helpful. It seems that every hurricane season this old chestnut makes its way around again in some form or another.
