Yea I have seen some and look great. But I have seen a 3rd slammed or bagged like the older mini trucks.

gotcha. It took a while for slammed older models, it's gonna be a while for 3rd gens, too new. you don't buy a newer truck to not use it like a truck...even among domestics you only see new trucks lifted WAY before anyone lowers one to any degree...and slamming...longer still. I'm actually surprised I found ANY 3rd gens that were lowered at all to be honest. If it weren't for the sos kit for the previous gen working on 3rds we probably wouldn't even have those.

Are there any airbag (lowering) suspension kits for 3rd gens? I only see airlift kits. I use my truck for its intended purpose, but I also have a small/medium size dog (mini Aussie) that sits in the back seat. I want to make it easier for her to get in and out more easily. I like the factory height of my tacoma, but the times that I need my dog to get in and out, plus loading the bed will be a worthwhile investment for me.

can't answer your question but I have older dogs...BIG dogs...I got a "petloader" brand set of steps...of course my dogs refuse to walk up the steps I paid over $200 for (got a scratch and dent sale)...but folded up they are still a decent height, better than carrying 2 wooden pallets I used to use to get them in/out for the vet visits. I pull up the drivers rear seat and put the petloader folded up down and they can hop up pretty easily.

I too would like to be able to get my short ass in the bed of my truck without climbing/jumping in but oh well XD Glad I have the OEM running boards, I always have to use them to get in, this really isn't a short persons truck

I know this sounds minor. But I would like to just have the rear the same height as the stock front on my 22 DC LB sport. Kinda the reverse of everyone with their front end levelling kits. On my long gone 06 f150 fx4 there was a oem 2" block I just removed. Any ideas guys?

Looks like you have a '22 on the way? Do you do any towing or plan on any heavy accessories?

EDIT: I'm an idiot and creeped on your posts to find the '22 and somehow missed it in your post.

Will mainly commute to work with minor towing (Seadoo and or small boat) and load it up once in awhile with whatever home reno stuff. Most plans are all cosmetic for this truck.

@TRDSport17North maybe remove the overload leaf and add RAS? Would be a lot of money to net maybe an inch though

I known I'm trying to justify the cost for an inch or so. What is RAS?

Roadmaster active suspension, I recently purchased one but need to do some modifications to fit it to my truck. I currently have the tundra racing kit installed.

Looks good man. I would like half the height of that you did. Just bought 17" 4runner trd pro sema's for the summer, looking to wrap them with bridgestone ht. Then see how it looks from there. You have done alot to that ride. Nice work.

This members ride looks great, sleek leveled perfectly. Just a smaller tire size, oem boards and valance back on.

Thanks, it's a lot of little stuff mostly that non-tacoma people wouldn't notice but I like it. I honestly think 1" front 2" rear drop would be doable if someone wanted to manufacture one. I would have certainly considered one if it were available.

What is everyone using for rear leveling with the tundra racing kit? I can only get level if a take my bed mat out. I haven't figured out a fabrication solution to make RAS work. I'm thinking about paying the return fee and trying to make sumo springs work instead.

I had done this before . Not sure how it would work out on yours .I have since removed it since adding front coil overs . I also had monroe air shocks . Trying to find thread on it .the air shocks would probably best. Heard they don't make that shock any more though .

Thanks, I guess I had looked at this before and forgot. I think the best solution for me may be a shackle flip but I'm not sure I'm that committed. I'll probably think about it for a bit. I could probably sell the RAS locally pretty easily if I go a different route instead of paying the return shipping for store credit.

I have a feeling that you use your lifted truck to compensate for your short tool.
