I'm 6' without shoes on and hit my pedals on stuff regardless. Plus my wheeling background makes me wamt to take certain lines. I'm not one for hitting jumps but my hard tail i got for a steal from a buddy. Lots of roots and rocks out here and the mountain right behind my house has plenty of trash to throw around lol

All this bike talk has given me an idea. How would you all feel about a weekend trip up here to Vermont for a little bit of wheeling and a day of mountain biking on some of the best trails in the northeast?

And, this weekends ‘oh shut’ moment is brought to you by Kenmore…

damn pump failed and sent a lot of water out of the bottom of the unit. Fortunately, most of the water went through the floor where the water feed hole is and just got all over the u finished basement floor, but the rest went under the cabinets….

I'm think I'm going to try to make it happen next summer. I have a friend who owns a small campground near Kingdom Trails (suitable for RTT and ground tent camping) and we can probably get get the entire thing rented for a night or two if we have enough people (it's only 6 sites I think). And there's some roads up near there that are great fun to cruise (stuff from Day 1 of my half-baked adventure). There is another campground nearby that can accommodate RVs/trailers as well.

I'm game. I have some more trails near Woodstock area too but that's a bit further south.

@Sloth i can bring my 26 HT for you. No rips on height but it's a good fit for you if anything might be a bit big. I don't remember the frame size might be large.

@Sloth, I can bring the old Goose! It’s old but full squish and proven to be fairly durable.

    I feel you pain.
Had one let go on me once.
Good thing I was still in the basement when it happened.
Still a shitload of water came out in less than a minute.
I'm thankful that I wasn't outside when it happened.

On the inside fuse box, what can I tap into for constant power for my dashcam? I tried the taillights but that is only working keyed.

@tacobell007 - Busy week with miles, since leaving your house last Sat, have about 1K on it. Got back from Coventry RI late this morning, truck has been driving like a dream since the bearing swap. I knew it was an issue, but never realized once it was swapped out how much better it would be. Thanks again, Bill

Hope you made the return trip safe and sound. It was great to meet you even if it was only a few hours of sleep for me and hope you enjoy the wheels and tire setup. It’s a killer looking combo. Cheers

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. I'm hoping to get something after the new year, but j guess it'll really depend on all this supply chain nonsense ending.
