clunking noise

    lift and leveling kit,skyjacker rear shocks, led under truck lighting
    ill have to pay attention to the noise now because the springs went like that after the lift.

    and i am not questioning you but wouldnt they make the noise every time i drive it and not just 2 times a day?

    My brake pads did this on my 2nd gen. The pads would shift when going into reverse after parking, more prominently after parking uphill like a driveway.

    Based on your description, it sounds like a ball joint to me but 20,000 miles is generally not enough to wear a ball joint to the point of being worn and loose.
