Snugtop GB Sport

Here is the GB Sport on a long bed. The top is really nice looking, the only issue so far is the opening between the tail gate and the hatch header. Its only 12". Not a lot of room for a bike to go in and hang out the back with a tailgate pad.

I just bought a 2017 with this top. Mine has the fold down front window. Do any of you know if you can get side windows that open for these?

$1000 for that? Where? I got a quote from our dealer up here in Anchorage, AK for $2982.04 standard shell with the Sportsman's Package for additional $99, Bonus factory special of fold down front window for free...Total $3230.04. That does not include the $550 delivery charge to AK and then $200 install for a total of $3980.04.

 

What is different about the roof rack that gives it more capacity?
Mine has the yakima rails.

Does yours have any additional structure for more weight?

 

Anybody got and current price quotes on these? I got one quote for 3500 no option installed, seems high to me.

 

I think the "sportsmans package" includes an extra layer of fiberglass, at least in the corners. Plus a thicker core on the ceiling. This lets you put 500lbs up there. Also, a cheesy fishing pole holder drilled into the ceiling (hard pass).

 

I since found out that my top is sportsmen model. It's the roof rack and the 500# load capacity. Not sure how much more it weighs. But there's noe fishing pole holder. At least not in the 5 foot model.

its 2021 - I was just quoted 3350 +210 for the sportsman package to handle 770lbs vs 540lbs

this is for a TRD off road tacoma 5.1 foot bed.

part of this is cost of raw materials

feel like Iam getting gouged slightly ???

 

Snug Top seems to be the better ones out there. That price seems to be okay + with the current state of inflation.

It’s 550lbs from 250lbs total weight capacity on top of sport or GB sport
