Rear locker button cover

Any ideas at to how to build a cover for my rear locker button that is similar to the SOS button?

kinda concerned about someone bumping it while im driving.

Yeah. You can do whatever u want to that button, but if the parameters aren't met, it won't go in.

 

Wait wait wait.... you have people that might bump it while driving? do people not sit while your driving? do you have a monkey that likes to hop around while you drive?

What are people reaching for that they might bump it? there is nothing there for a person to push except the map light, and if you miss the map light and hit that button, that person should sit in the backseat in a baby seat.

 

Lol at these threads. Read your manual. Locker won’t engage unless stopped, in 4L. No need to worry.

You can also throw the car in reverse at highway speeds and press the off button nothing happens… although don’t tap the off button four times…. That will shut it off

 

I always wondered that. Off button does nothing until u hit it 4 times?

 

locker wont activate unless certain conditions are met... you have no need to worry while driving.

 

Push it in 2wd, I dare ya, I double dare ya!!

 

Some people need a different hobby or something.

 

well I was playing around once on a long drive and I hit it once and it flashed the warning saying if you hold it it will shut off. I tapped it a few more times but didn’t hold it and the engine cut at 70 mph. Yes, I’m an idiot. Quickly threw it into neutral and coasted to the shoulder.
