Morn all, pardon my ignorance on this topic.
I had a new serpentine belt installed by Toyota about 2 weeks ago and am wondering if that could have flashed my ovtune that was set up last year.

Am wondering if it is just the adjustment of the belt that is causing a little slowness and needs to be broken back in, or if they might have flashed my TSB thus deleting my ovtune.

Is there a way to verify if it is still installed?

If they did a TSB update then it is gone. Does the paperwork indicate they may have?

According to the service records for the serpentine belt, it states: REPLACE SERPENTINE BELT PER TSB 0098-20. REPLACED SERPENTINE BELT AND VERIFIED NOISE IS GONE. 90916-A2025 91/40"

Does that mean it was flashed or updated? I honestly dont know what bulletin/version I was prior.

Ahh yea, let me rephrase my previous statement, if they did an ECU related TSB its gone. According to what they did, it should still be there. Do you happen to remember which ECU ID you were on prior/during the OVTune? Did you tune it yourself or have it done? Can you contact the person that tuned you if you had it done and see if they kept a record?

I do not. My ignorance. I do recall the guy who did it updated to the latest TSB at that time. I put out a message to him just to check.
It's not shifting like it did prior to the ovtune, but I can tell a difference. Again, maybe it's just a break in period. IDK.

Will update as I find out more. Appreciate it.

The TSB you reference is the TSB for replacing the serpentine belt. It does not flash the ECU. The 90016-A2025 91/40 is the Toyota part number for the belt. In short ... they did not flash your ECU so your OVTune is as it was before you took it in for service.

    Appreciate that.
It's slowly feeling more like it did... I don't know if serpentine belts can affect performance and need a break in period, but I am going to chalk it up to that for my own mental well being.

no break in period needed. They work from the get go until they fail - or in the case of the old one - make noise ! If the dealer undid your negative battery terminal while they did the belt it is possible your driving memory was reset - thus all you need to do is just drive - it may take a while for it to feel normal but there is nothing wrong...

    That would make more sense.

I had the fuel pump recall done and the paperwork didn't indicate it had been reflashed. I swear the truck drove as if OV was gone. I reflashed OV several times and it still seemed it wasn't there. I reflashed to KDMAX and instantly it was there. Drove KDMAX all versions for about a month then reflashed back to OV and it is definitely there.
Call me crazy but that's what I found.

I am guessing that I cannot validate if it's still there without have the OV software?

I can only see the ecu with the software. You can't see the tune as far as I know.
