I recently moved to boulder colorado for school and I'm definitely interested in taking my truck off-road. I have a 2015 Tacoma, V6, double cab, long bed (he's a long boi). It is completely stock and I have pretty minimal off-road experience. I don't really have the money to make any real modifications to it right now. Would I be able to take it off-road anyway?

For reference, the places I'm looking at going to are Peewink Mountain or Moody Hill Road in colorado.

Is it a 4x4? If yes, get a tow strap, real shackles for extraction. Find a friend (with experience), take it easy when you start and enjoy.
