I got the 160L and it fit UNDER the bed height. From the side of the truck you couldn't even see it. In terms of fitting under a cover, I cant say. I never had a cover on the bed.

In terms of the struts, yes you gotta install them, but I actually never installed mine, after a few weeks using the box, I realized I never needed the struts. The lid stayed open even in decent winds without any issue. I just kept the struts in the bags inside the box.

Awesome post!! Curious though what combination of washers (rubber and steel) and nuts did you guys use? I'm in Western Canada and we have a ton of rain to worry about and I'm finding the smallest leaks in my boxes. Nothing major but wondering if I can eliminate it without having to put automotive silicone on it.

I have 2 of the Roam Adventure 95L cases bolted to my roof rack & I have never had any problems with them leaking even with the holes I drilled in the bottom. I have a step-by-step on what I did on my build thread.

Just installed a 160L with a deny lock. Installation was super easy and actually really happy with it. I may either do another on the opposite side or just a cable lock for a little extra piece of mind but from the posts on these guys Instagram from theft attempts it seems to do a pretty solid job.

    Oh man…
This is perfect! I’ve been thinking about a couple 95’s up top and haven’t seen a truck with them on yet. Definitely sold now
