Ideal project plans. Thoughts?

I am ideally looking for a ute style car in America... but not interested in the El Camino or a Rampage from 1980, and the Baha is a 4 door and a boxter. Currently, I have a 2000 Avalon that I love reliability and I love repairing cars.
If I can mix the reliability of a 4cly Toyota with the option for an open-air bed that is small to drive and park in a city, I will have my Ideal car.

My primary plan, a 3 passenger Tacoma with a 171" length. The ability to haul 300+ Pound with ~400 lb of passengers on 4 struts or coilover style suspension for the smoothest ride (drives like my Avalon.) 4 cylinder engine if possible, and prioritize everything for street and road driving over off-roading.

IF these exist, I would love to have a suspension setup and can lower the truck slightly or road stability and can be adjusted to raise the truck an inch or 2 for off-road days. This sounds unrealistic, but if someone knows, I would appreciate it greatly!!

In short, a bedded car the city streets and freeways, and off-roading capabilities if they don't impede the city driving performance. Price isn't a problem as these are just jumping-off ideas.
