    Hello all,
I have a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 and I am wanting to install a leveling kit. Thinking about 3" in front and 2" in rear. I am not sure what all I need to do this install. Do I need different shocks? Sway bar links? I have a camper shell on it. Do I need heavier duty shocks for rear? Do I need a differential drop? Any advise or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

There are so many options and opinions on your questions. Just like with what type of motor oil should I use or what tires should I get. IMO - you should do a search on lifts for the 2nd gen Tacoma, then read and reseach. You could start with this suspension thread.

    Thank you BlkDakDave,
Not really looking for suggestions on specific brands at this time just wanting to know what parts I will need to make this project happen. I am new to lifting a vehicle. Once I know what parts I need I can research brands and manufacturers. Thanks for your reply. I will check out the thread that you sent me.
