Gotta read all the way to get to the Jeep reference. If we’re going to read this thread, we might as well read Proust.

    Rand seems fitting.

“Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. Animals obtain food by force. man had no claws, no fangs, no horns, no great strength of muscle. He must plant his food or hunt it. To plant, he needs a process of thought. To hunt, he needs weapons, and to make weapons - a process of thought. From this simplest necessity to the highest religious abstraction, from the wheel to the skyscraper, everything we are and we have comes from a single attribute of man -the function of his reasoning mind.”

"The binary value of each bit represents an incrementing power of 2. In the case of this number, bits 7, 5, 3, and 1 are high. So, to find the decimal equivalent, you add 2^7, 2^5, and 2^1. The resulting decimal value is 170. You can prove to yourself that this value is equiavelent by substituting it into the code listed earlier."

If I cared about stuffing big tires under my vehicle, I would consider a Bronco or Raptor 37 before a Jeep everyday of the week.

Along those lines, if I were into trails that required 35", 37", 40" tires, I certainly wouldn't do it on a new $40k+ vehicle.

I would merely build something from scratch. With looks being the least important quality. Right now, I don't have the itch or the desired space to build such a beast. Tools and fab equipment, I'm good there.
