It’s true man, it’s crazy how angry people get on the road. Joe Rogan says something about social media and its something like “people say stupid shit on social media all the time but if you were in an elevator together they wouldn’t dare say it to your face”. That’s like road rage, everyone is a tough guy in their cage.

The more people think this, the worse it will get.

Sounds like you need to go full zombie apocalypse if you want to barrel through those no turn signal guys. Add a couple sidewinder missiles on top and you’re good to go.

People think twice about cutting me off since my 4Runner has metal on all sides. That being said, I’m generally pretty nice on the road and don’t get into petty squabbles over a spot in line on a busy road.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Sad thing is, there are too many "self-centered, me first, I'm more important" people out there.
Good luck trying to change them all, 'cuz I doubt you'll be successful.
Problem with your approach is that you'll turn into the a$$hole who blocks the entitled, then have to hit your brakes to avoid hitting the car in front, and then get slammed by the car behind you.

I'm that guy who goes all the way to the merge point. I always use my signal. Sometimes I'll get a tough guy (this weekend it was a lady in a Santa Fe) who tries to ram the car ahead of them to block me but I just keep rolling and find a new spot, no problem. You're supposed to do that, one car merges in at a time and it works like a zipper; hence the term zipper merge. Drivers who get in a backed-up lane super early instead of fully utilizing all the available lanes are chumps and I'm not sorry.

My personal favorite is when you want to change lanes, you look and see that you have plenty of space, you signal your intention, and the guy in the other lane steps on the gas to close off the space so you can't make the lane change in front of him.

When you walk in bigger cities like San Francisco, other people almost never acknowledge your presence or ever say hi. Your lucky if they don’t run you over while looking down at their phones. I used to live in Fresno and I swear almost every stranger would give you a smile or say hi. Move over a little so everyone can pass on a sidewalk. Big difference when you’re nearer the country. And I’m a city slicker Btw. I know, you can get robbed or killed in any town, but just saying

also agree with OP and all other comments here.

People need to learn to zipper and quit acting like someone merging in front of them is a personal insult. I've fallen into the habit of not signaling at times...odds are if one signals the adequate space in the next lane over will get closed off by someone speeding up. The attitude seems to be how can I get there quicker, rather than how do we make all the traffic flow better. It's the prisoners game and enough people are playing for themselves that everyone suffers.

I will say your welcome so loudly like I’m scolding my kids so everyone hears If I’m caught holding a door without a thank you (f a nod). I don’t care how old either. it’s almost always like a deer caught in headlights and they pick up their manners quick. Maybe next time I’ll say excuse me ma’am/sir you dropped something  you know they’ll look

Some of these comments are hilarious. Thumbs up, and thumbs down, those are the best ways to deal with those road ragers because it expresses your deepest disappointment in their behavior. It's almost like flipping the bird is the nicer solution, it makes no sense. Lol.

As for people not minding their manners and not saying thank you if I held open the door for them I'll say you're welcome so they hear me and everyone else does also. The end result is usually pretty funny.

See, the stuff we are talking about is why I don't like going out anymore. Too many idiots on the road and out in public who don't understand manners and how to drive. At least this much stands true in the big cities.

Sidenote: Silicone Valley and the areas within it's vast electrical reach that it manages to infect is cancer.
