No it's the annual. I'm happy but I will always drop some money at the lock boxes. I still consider it my duty for some reason.

I can get the senior pass at 62.

Used to be called golden eagle.

Now they might as well call it the old fart pass

Good morning. It rained all night. It's currently 47 degrees, with a strong breeze, with winds around 15 mph. The real feel is 41. The high today is 50. At least I won't sweat when I walk my dog.

Sunny and upper 70s today. Rain is supposed to come in Thursday with strong storms, wind, hail, possible tornadoes. At least they have a couple more days to talk up the doom and gloom:rolleyes:

Good morning. Headed to St. Louis to see some grandkids. 44* here and partly cloudy. High of 60*
I watched these videos the other day and they are heart warming. Hand down the best rescue mission for a hunk of junk I've ever seen.
Make sure you watch part II

oh man....waaayyyy back in 87, I worked at a Bob Evans here in C-bus - back when they had a smoking section - and one Sunday morning this 15 passenger van rolls in at about 9ish - before the church crowd - and about 10 "long hairs" roll out and come in to the place and sort of "take over" the smoking section. At the time, I was the only person on staff who didn't listen to country.

so my manager comes into the back and says "I think we are going to have trouble in the smoking section", and I went out to see why, and lost my mind...it was Metallica, and some of the crew. James, Kirk, Lars, and 'the New Guy" Jayson. No one else could understand why I was swooning.

They were all NOT causing any kind of trouble, and were actually pretty polite... but man they had a "smell" about them that said "road dogs" for sure. They were DEFINITELY scaring most of the clientele and the staff, but I asked to help the waitress (I was a busser/dishwasher) and got to help serve them. I really, really tried not to be a fanboi, but in the end, I did ask for pictures and autographs, which they were fine with. In a box somewhere in storage, I have pictures of me and all of them with those goofy little string bow tie things on.

this was just as "...and Justice..." was coming out, but I had been into them since RTL came out.

That's very cool. I love the band but never met any of them. However....a Bob Evans Story.
So my cousin graduated from Ohio State AG school and took a job with a farm in Rio Grand. Yep, it was Bob Evans Farm but not the farm everyone thinks. Bob loved Charolais Cattle, and so did my cousin. He got hired to manage his Charolais farm with about 250 head of show cattle. He called me one weekend and asked me to come down and paint the sign for the farm, so I did. Over a few years I spent some serious party time down there and talked to Bob several times over the years. Lots of parties back in those days.
