I got in a 4 car accident yesterday, got rear ended by two cars. The bed hit the cab of the truck behind me but it seemed to have bounced back. Theres minimal damage on the cab. The main point of impact was at the hitch and it’s still intact just bent downwards.

theres no radiator damage, no engine damage, nothing is leaking and its still driveable. minimal damage to the front because i got pushed into the car in front.

    do you think it’s totaled?

First impression is not a total but not cheap. Hope you are not hurting after a solid hit like that.
Probably lots of damage to the bed especially if it marked the back of your cab. I see some cracks (and weird gaps from bent stuff!)around your grille too. Probably damage in the thousands.

Glad that you are safe and made it out okay. On the bright side... Perfect time to take the insurance money and upgrade your front and rear with aftermarket bumpers!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If it’s drivable take the insurance money, rip ‘er down and drive it like it is. You don’t have to worry about scratches anymore and other cars on the road will avoid you like the plague. It’s Mad Max time, buddy!

What state are you in and which insurance company? Probably needs a frame, total will depend on how much your insurance carrier wants to spend and if a frame replacement is allowed in your state. Used truck values are nuts so that’s also a factor.

Take it to your body shop and have it inspected. How can someone here possibly know?

Looks to be a 2wd, then yup totaled...

I jest. Nobody here knows until you actually take it to a body shop and get with insurance. Till then it's totally speculation:notsure:

Don't know why we have to keep making these threads...

Sorry about your Taco bro. Hope you're ok. Whats with all of these dicks rear ending folks. Motherfuckers are texting and driving guaranteed. Id get a lawyer involved, and go for whatever the assholes policy is good for. Fuck em, As far as the the truck, Id do what ever I had to , to have the ins comp total it. Way too much body work involved to make it correct. Be well, hope it works out for you.

It looks pretty minor, but my opinion has absolutely no value. I had more visible damage than that when I lost a fight with some trees and it cost about $7k.
