    Kind of crazy, one shop tells you the frame is bent, the other it's a shifted axle.:annoyed:

    This is exactly what happened to me. Well actually two shops told me the frame was bent, it was the third shop that noticed that the axle had shifted. The reason it had shifted was that the centering pin had snapped. Three dollar part, $100 labor.

    Is there a way to measure the frame that would eliminate the rear axle as a factor?

    So the shop was able to adjust the rear axle just enough to eliminate most if not all of the dog tracking. He stated again that he couldn't find anything that would suggest that the frame is bent.
