2nd gen tacoma grille fix

A few months back I purchased a TRD style grille for my 2nd gen. The grille didnt come with the TOYOTA emblem that it was supposed to have. After may failed attempts to reach out to the company i decided to find an alternative solution with very little success. I recently came accross this TOYOTA emblem for an older fj after comparing measurments i decided to take a chance. There was a bit of triming but over all i am very happy with the result. Hopefully this helps someone out there.

Size relation to the rest of the grill the TOYOTA emblem looks good, but if it were mine I'd get the grill's outer bezel and the emblem paint matched to the rest of your truck.

 

Thanks for the feed back. I am going to paint match the emblems soon. This is just how it came. The grille would probably look nice matched as well but thats too much work for me lol
