So have a 2010 Tacoma with 185k on it. Have a mystery rattle happening on my front passenger side by the wheel.

I have scoured TW for weeks now and tried everything people have found for the most part.

I’ve had it for about 4 months I’d say now and seems to be worse when it’s cold. As the truck seems to ride, it goes away but the cold makes it always there now with fall around. Sounds like something on the fender area, but we all know how sound ends up in the wrong places. It all started a few months after a timing seal leak job. They pulled the whole engine out of it.

So since it’s arrived I have:
    Changed rotors and pads
    Got new tires and wheels
    Removed the sway bar

Sound is still there. Now will say when I changed the rotors and pads. It went away for a day. But it came back and is getting louder.

I’ve tightened everything to spec, shook things, took a pry bar around and nothing seems bad. The radiator mount seems kinda bad? But nothing to seem like this. Those look simple enough to change, so I might tackle that anyways.

Video I have of the rattle/rumble. Don’t mind the higher pitched rattle, that’s a pen lol

My thoughts are possible cv axle, radiator mount, or a bad coil (since original).

Any input would be awesome. Gonna swing it somewhere soon, but trying to locate it if it’s something super simple.
