Any way to use an engine hoist as an alternative method to unloading? That’ll at least get you on the ground until you can get more help.

forklift would be better obviously but I would t know where to begin there.

You probably spent a ton of money on the hammer. Getting off the truck is probably the easy part. I'd get whatever piece of equipment will allow you to get it off the truck an in it's final resting place as easily as possible.

Go rent a Penske truck with lift gate. Would make it easy to remove from delivery truck and lower to the ground.

I would recommend a forklift. They're cheap to rent for a few hours and they will drop it off and pick it up.

Are you paying for delivery? It isn’t delivered till it’s out of the truck.

My cousin kindly offered to go get it. But because theres zero clue as to when he will show up, its hard to coordinate that , with it being unloaded. I think i am going to just have to pay a professional to get it and deliver it to its final resting place for me.

He is trying to save me some cash, but this may be one time i need to spend a little more.

You might find it cheaper to have a tow truck driver use his winch to move the load from the bed of the pick up onto the flat bed of his car hauler. I'd remove the trucks tailgate and back the trucks to within inches of each other.

He can then tilt the bed so it can be lowered onto the ground using the winch. In fact it might just be easier to pay a tow truck driver to get it and deliver it to your home instead of using a pickup. If you're paying him to come out and unload it might not be much more to just deliver it.

Local building supply store probably has a crane truck you could rent.
