LCA bushing on daughters Camry is toast. We just got it, and she can’t drive til December and I was looking into why it pulls to one side when the brakes are first applied. Can a bad bushing cause brake pull symptoms like that?

Yep a bad bushing like that will cause the LCA to shift within the slop of the bushing. That changes toe on that tire when braking.

Looks like you got a steering rack leak there as well.

Thanks, I just wanted someone to confirm that would cause some shift when braking. You could feel it when turning really tight with that tire on the outside too. I did see the steering rack leak while I had it apart. I'm gonna tackle the LCA this weekend. It would be really easy but one of the bolts is under the motor mount, so that will add a little fun.
