    Currently riding a 2017 yz250fx and my son is on a 2020 KLX110.

We are disassembling and rebuilding a blown 2008 KX85 I picked up for $800 for his next bike. Adding flywheel weight, hand guards, top end rebuild, powder coating the frame, and lots of little upgrades/repairs. Should be a fun project for us.

I am going to figure it out as we go. All I have done so far is bought a Clymer manual for the bike and removed the plastics and deep cleaned it. I bagged and labeled all the nuts/bolts.
My neighbor has rebuilt several bikes and offered to help as needed, and will walk me through the inspecting the engine when we disassemble it, and helping make sure I order the right parts.
For parts I tend to use Rocky mountain ATV/MC as you can get both atftermarket and oem parts through them.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Just got back from Brushy Mtn Park. 1190r on the single track was like running a battleship thru the narrows. Was a beast on the hill climbs and was insane on the downhills. I will say keeping the ABS On for the front wheel was a necessity on the DHs, as this mother wanted to absolutely dig up some dirt in a slide :)

I was looking through the cool rides and thought I'd add some 2 stroke love to this thread as it seems to move rather slowly. I grew up on Crusty Demons of Dirt and Freestyle mx/ Metal Mulish era. Always looked up to Mcgrath, Pastrana, Deegan, Enslow, Carmichael, Twitch and many others. Also enjoy and follow Monster Energy Supercross. Congrats Cooper Webb/KTM on another championship!
A couple machines I've owned and sold, but not forgotten: Honda XR100, first bike, thanks grandpa :bikewheelie:. Wish I would have kept that one.:annoyed: Yamaha YFZ450R quad, sold for college funds. :drunk:

Current: 2003 Honda CR250R owned since new. Rebuilt frame up on and off in 2019/2020 on a tight budget, in the garage and the house during the hot summer months.
Degreased frame, swing-arm, and radiators and cleaned up aluminum with red 3m scotch-brite pads, Maxima waterproof grease here and there, repainted the factory pipe.
Stock motor and internals no porting/polishing or milling on the head (might outsource to Pro Circuit or Terry Varner one of these days)
    Now the good stuff...
VForce 3 reeds/ UNI air filter
(FMF q spark arrestor in this pic) swapped for Pro Circuit R304 shorty with factory pipe (much better snap on the low end, loud af)
Protaper CR high bend bars,ODI/Troy Lee Designs grips, motion pro throttle tube, oem clutch and brake cables
Works connection adjustable clutch perch and bling goodies
Core MX custom stainless brake lines/ EBC MXS sintered metal pads
    Guts racing custom seat cover
    HPS Silicone red radiator hoses
UFO fluorescent yellow front fender and black plastics with enjoy manufacturing/troy lee designs/Team Honda Racing graphics
Bikegraphix custom number plate and airbox graphics
OEM parts here and there (bolts, calipers, master cylinders, gaskets, carb, ect.) PC Racing airbox gasket seal
Bridgestone battle cross x30 tires, Pirelli tubes, Renthal 13/49 sprockets (went up from 13/48 stock), gold DID chain
VP Racing 100 octane/Pro Honda HP2 premix 32:1/ 410 main/ 1 1/2 turns out on air screw/ everything else on carb is factory jetting.
Suspension's due for a rebuild, considering sending it off to factory connection. I can do forks, but the rear shock is a foreign language to me and needs to be charged with nitrogen anyway. :bikewhoops:

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, but here's few pics in various stages...

I couldn’t resist buying this one - 2020 300 xc tpi. Ever since I sold my 2018 I had been regretting it.

Nice to see the love for 2 strokes still. Which reminds me, I need to order fork seals for my 2003 CR250R...:bikewhoops:
I noticed the Deegan's recently jumped ship from KTM to Yamaha, so I guess Monster Energy pays better than a factory ride. Also, Chad Reed also hinted at another possible short Supercross stint in 2022 on his YouTube channel "The Reeds." He's got the talent, but at his age I'd be enjoying retirement and staying off the starting line. Ride safe! :bikewheelie2:

Reedy was my idol growing up, & if I were him id be rolling in the money and riding my heart out for fun. But that's not what makes a racer a racer, or Reed, Reed lol

Good , bud. I haven't checked this thread in a while. I saw those 2 Yamis and was like "I like this guy's style" and then realized it was yours lol. Your bikes were both blue last time I saw pics of them, so it threw me off lol. Hope you are doing well!

    @AJH387
Yessir, decided to try something different with them the last refresh. Jumped on the nardo gray theme for the 250f and tried clear plastics/graphics with the yz125 !

Im doing well, prepping for a weekend riding moto & camping right now - can’t get better than that !
