I've used remote start many times, using the fob. Today, I started the truck remotely and then when I went to unlock it and get in the truck...it kept running. Obviously it was supposed to turn off when I opened the door. I was concerned that something strange would happen if I tried to drive away, so I turned the truck off with the start/stop button. Then I went to start the car normally and it would not start. The accessories all came on but the starter was not engaged. It flashed the battery symbol, and then said IGNITION ON and nothing happened. Even weirder, all of the interior controls were not working -- I couldn't even turn off the climate control. I tried this several times, getting out and locking the truck, starting fresh, nothing worked.

I had to open the hood and unhook the negative terminal, waited a few minutes, and hooked it back up. Then it started as normal. Very strange behavior and I was wondering if it has happened to anyone else. It's like the truck wasn't paying attention and let me get in and then it was so confused that it shat the bed.
